Hi you lot. We tried to get hold of you for Luiz's birthday (a couple of times) but to no avail. We hope that all is well with you all and that the intrepid cyclists are behaving themselves and not terrorising the UK on their way to fame and stardom. Support team I trust that you are all in good spirits and having a ball. Let us know how you all are sometime! We have just hosted 4 lads (Heathers son and his mates) who have just cycled from Cairo to Cape Town. Sound like a challenge Clarice??Food for thought! Much love from all in George.
| Sheila & Steve | 17 July 2008 21:25:31 |
Well, just got in from my evening exercise of - ahem - 3 miles (..oops missed the '0' off the end, silly me) round the block, and, suitably exhausted, sat at the computer to see what my crazy cuz and the crazier Clarice are up to. Wishing I had as much energy and enthusiasm, you're looking good ladies....! We're currently looking for volunteers to 'fuel' our alternative energy source - thinking in terms of bikes hooked up to dynamo's....any takers...?? Can we suggest adding a sort of thermometer to show how much you're raising by doing this crazy, crazy ride? Here's to you m'luv's and the vital support crew, hope they're having a ball too. We will see you on the way somewhere, so don't slack, 'cos we'll catch you!! KEEP IT UP!!!! (*yawn* I really should move my not-at-all-sore-backside-and-legs to my very comfy bed after a nice hot shower...) On the plus side, all I have to do tomorrow is work. YOU, on the other hand, have to bike a long, long way my friends...... tee hee..) lots of love, hugs & admiration xx
| Kathy | 17 July 2008 11:27:46 |
Time at last to catch up on your awesome trip. So far so good i hope. Has all that training paid off. With your determined spirit how can you fail to succeed plus your south african love for adventures!! Still think you must be MAD!!! Go girls go. May the force be with you or something like that. Wishing you all the best. Kathy

The way you have made the website is so amusing! Truly, dull moments are not likely. Safe cycling girls...maybe you need ejector seats fitted to those already mean machines in the event of a all-too-close passing motorist! Great to see such top-down family support, bet Grandma is loving such sudden fame. Love you lots
